The successor to the discontinued Hexad. Dual dynamic bass, flagship Sonion and Knowles armatures for the mids and highs, and a pair of microplanar drivers that carry the top end further than any IEM before it. Early bird pricing while the first batch lasts.
First batch pricing. When these sell through, the price is $415.
1-year parts and labor warranty. Built by Isaiah, backed by Isaiah.
The same Sonion 26UA mid and Knowles 33518 treble armatures you get in the $679 PRE5TIGE.
Each dichroic fire faceplate is cut and set by hand, so the pattern on your pair exists exactly once. This is not a colorway. It is a one-off.
Twin 10mm dynamics move serious air, so the low end lands with the weight the original Hexad was loved for. From there the signal hands off to the same Sonion 26UA and Knowles 33518 armatures that the PRE5TIGE is known for, keeping vocals natural and detail effortless.
A 4-way passive electronic crossover board splits the signal across the driver array, and tuned acoustic tubes carry each driver's frequency band to your ear in phase so six drivers arrive as one. The measured response shows the result: an incisive bass shelf, natural mids with a shallow pinna gain, and an open top end that stays smooth rather than sharp. And at 15.72 ohms it is an easy load for phones, dongles, and stage packs alike.
Twin dynamic drivers deliver deep, textured low end with real physical punch.
The same armature that powers the PRE5TIGE midrange: natural, lifelike vocals.
Flagship-grade detail and sparkle without a hint of fatigue.
A pair of miniature planar drivers extends the very top with air and dimension.
Not marketing shorthand: the mid and treble armatures in the Hexad II are the exact same parts Isaiah builds into the PRE5TIGE.
The PRE5TIGE keeps its bone conduction driver, magnetostat top end, and signed serial card. If you want the full statement piece, it is right there. If you want its voice for $300 less, that is the Hexad II.
The Hexad II succeeds the original Hexad, which sold through its final batch. These are real reviews from owners of the original.
“Fantastic tuning with high quality drivers. The build quality is spectacular and the price is very reasonable for a hybrid of this caliber. Excited to see where this brand goes from here!”
“Killer product! The audio quality is insane. Would recommend to any audiophiles out there.”
“Mature tuning. Music feels live and spacious, with a lot of air between instruments.”
The Hexad II is not a factory product. Isaiah Schell designs, prints, solders, tunes, and quality-checks every set himself in his US workshop, and nothing ships until it sounds the way he signed off.
That is also your guarantee. If anything goes wrong in the first year, the person who built your IEMs is the person who repairs them. No ticket queue, no outsourced support.
The first batch of the Hexad II is $379 instead of the regular $415. Once the early bird window closes, the price moves up, so if you are on the fence, this is the time.
The dual 10mm dynamics carry over, but everything above them is new: the mids and treble now run on the same Sonion 26UA and Knowles 33518 armatures as the PRE5TIGE, and a pair of microplanar drivers replaces the old super-tweeters for more air up top.
Universal fit. The Hexad II ships with six pairs of silicone eartips in different sizes so you can dial in seal and comfort without ear impressions.
Each pair is built to order, usually 2 to 4 weeks. If Isaiah has a finished set on the shelf it can ship sooner, and he will keep you posted personally.
A 1-year parts and labor warranty, backed by the person who built your IEMs. You just cover shipping on any warranty work.
Every Hexad II starts as parts on Isaiah's bench and leaves as a finished instrument. The first batch is $379. After that, it is $415. Reserve yours and it goes on the bench.
