Tetrad

$179.00 Retired · built on request

The inaugural SymphonyEars IEM, and the one that earned the brand its first following. A warm, engaging quad-driver hybrid built for the basshead in all of us: rich bass, velvety vocals, and crystalline percussion.

The sound

Warm, fun, and easy to love.

The Tetrad was built for enjoyment first. The single dynamic driver lays down rich, satisfying bass while three Knowles armatures keep vocals smooth and the top end clean and sparkly.

It is an unapologetically musical signature, and the reason the Tetrad still has fans years after its debut.

Wow! I love these IEMs. I’ve tried half a dozen or so different pairs varying in price from $30 to $300 and these are by far my favorite! Such a nice bass and smooth sound overall. Plenty of sparkle. Just all around a really enjoyable listen!

While I have heard more resolving IEMs, rarely do IEMs offer such clarity and detail and musical smoothness in the midrange that the Tetrad offer. Bass is fantastic and midrange is liquid, detailed and properly balanced to my tastes. The only thing missing is a little treble resolution. In all honestly, the treble is there, and it is sufficient, but I believe it could be tipped up in the tuning just a little to enhance its presence a little more. I absolutely love my Tetrad and would highly recommend them at this price point or even a slightly higher price point. They are incredibly enjoyable to listen to!

Upon first using them, I noticed the seemingly unusual way it felt inside my ear, around the auricle and inward towards the middle ear. Then, I observed the interesting way it produced sound. After thirty or so minutes I realized the ease with which I could process each sound and after listening to many several genres, I was refreshed by the beautiful unison of every note. Overall, I enjoy them, they have a unique way in which they present every sound. I believe them to be high quality and I have appreciated how they don’t feel like falling out, even when laying down on my back. In conclusion, I’d recommend them, though others might disagree with me.
